Galaget | High Score Challenge

Galaget is an arcade style space shooter that can be owned and traded as a NFT. It is the world’s first Game-As-Non-Fungible-Token (GA-NFT). All of the token metadata and games are hosted and pinned using Interplanetary File System (IPFS). This protects the token data and game files from being removed from the internet. GA-NFT is an acronym for Game-As-Non-Fungible-Token. It is a new kind of NFT where an entire game is a NFT. We created the term to allow people to distinguish between games that are owned and traded as NFTs from games that use NFTs to represent items in-game. Galaget is an idea by two brothers. We wanted to see if we can create a new kind of NFT that was interactive. Drawing inspiration from our childhood (and programming skills from our adulthood :D) the Galaget game was born.
